Ariann Robino is a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Assessment and Evaluation and a doctoral student in the Counselor Education program at Virginia Tech. She is currently completing an internship at Hokie Wellness. Ariann graduated from Loyola University New Orleans in 2013 with a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Louisiana as well as a National Certified Counselor. Her past clinical experience has included substance abuse treatment in both residential and outpatient settings. Most recently, Ariann worked with at-risk adolescents in the juvenile justice system as a Diversion counselor. Her research interests include substance abuse and other addictive behaviors, relationships and communication, psychosocial development, college students, and trauma.
